New members are always welcome and your first meeting is FREE!
We meet in St Asaph Sports Centre (next to Ysgol Glan Clwyd on the Upper Denbigh Road - A525) on the first Sunday of the month at 6.00 p.m. MAP Membership costs £20 per year and a subscription of £2 per meeting includes refreshments and a monthly newsletter. FIRST MEETING IS FREE!
There is a raffle table, with plentiful prizes each month. A tree of the month competition is held and there is usually a display of mature specimens.
We have a varied programme of well-known speakers and workshops. Novices are well catered for with a training programme run in parallel to the main meetings. The programme also includes regular visits to shows, bonsai nurseries and garden visits.
We also have our very own trader/member who operates Green Dragon Bonsai and sells a wide selection of trees, pots, wire and tools.
The A.G.M. is in January of each year. Details of the 2008 program are as follows. There is no meeting in December as we have our Christmas social on the first Sunday of that month.

January 6th A.G.M.
February 3rd Talk on Potting Mixes from George Mowbray
March2nd Repotting Workshop. Bring along your trees to repot. Help and advice from experienced members for first timers. Meeting starts at 1 hour earlier at 5pm to allow us plenty of time.
April 6th We may have a surprise guest speaker on this night. If not, Duelling clippers with prizes! A fun styling event that also is very educational. Competing teams to be decided.
May 4th Interactive talk on three point displays, scrolls, stones accents and trees.
May 30th 31st and 1st June Our Annual Show at Woodfest Wales

July 6th Clip and Grow Deciduous Workshop
